Megan Gale

Gale was 18 when she was 18 when she won a modeling contest she won in Perth. Gale was an actress for a few decades before becoming famous at the age of 19 when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) asked her to model in ads. The model continued working for the company up to 2006. In 2003 she was hired by the Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale has been featured on the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale modeled for Italian houses such as Gianfranco ferre, Genny in addition to Gai Matiolo. She also did runway work for Milan Fashion Week for Mariella burani and Angelo Marani. (9) Gale also favours many Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. She also served as one of the fashion experts for the Logies award, which is an Australian TV award. Gale declared in January 2008 her decision to retire in fashion after fifteen productive years. Then, a couple of weeks later on, during the unveiling of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for her last time on the catwalk. The model wore the Wonder Woman costume she had thought of wearing for her role in the Justice League of America film that was being developed.
